This Privacy Policy explains how HQLens collects, uses, and shares information when you use the app.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 You provide

• Account: Apple ID identifier (Sign in with Apple)
• Favorites: the list of companies you save

1.2 Automatically collected

• Subscription state via RevenueCat
• Crash and error logs (90-day retention)

1.3 Not collected

• Location, contacts, photo library, camera, microphone, IDFA
• HQLens does not track you across apps or websites

2. How We Use Information

3. Public Data Sources

HQLens displays data from free, public sources. None of the data shown is collected from you — it is fetched from publicly available endpoints:

• SEC EDGAR (company filings, revenue, headcount disclosures)
• Public ATS / careers feeds (open-positions counts)
• Apple Maps Look Around (headquarters imagery)

6. Your Rights — Account & Data Deletion

6.1 Delete your account in-app

Settings → Account → Delete Account. Account credentials, favorites, and all cloud-synced data are permanently removed immediately.

6.2 Email request

If you cannot access the in-app option, email [email protected] with your registered email. Processed within 3 business days.

6.3 Revoke Sign in with Apple

iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Password & Security → Sign in with Apple → HQLens → Stop Using Apple ID.

7. Security

• HTTPS/TLS for all network traffic
• API keys stored in iOS Keychain
• Supabase Row Level Security for user data isolation

8. Cookies and Tracking

No cookies. No IDFA without explicit consent. RevenueCat may use an anonymous device identifier for subscription status only.

9. Children's Privacy

Not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. International Transfers

All third-party processors are based in the United States. Transfers are governed by each provider's data processing agreements.

11. Changes

Material changes announced via in-app notice or email at least 7 days before taking effect (30 days for significant changes).
