Quieta

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 6, 2026

Quieta is a tinnitus tracking journal. We designed it to need as little of your data as possible. This policy explains what the app does and does not collect.

Your journal stays on your device

Your daily check-ins (intensity, sound character, mood, sleep quality), trigger tags, spike logs, notes, and generated reports are stored locally on your device (in the app's private container/app group). This information is not sent to us and we cannot see it.

No account required

Quieta does not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email, phone number, or contacts.

No third-party tracking or ads

Quieta contains no advertising and no analytics or tracking SDKs. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell or share personal data.

Subscriptions

Quieta Pro is an optional subscription. Purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to verify your subscription status and unlock Pro features. For this purpose RevenueCat processes a randomly generated app user identifier and your App Store purchase/receipt information; it does not receive your name or the contents of your journal. See Apple's and RevenueCat's privacy policies for details on payment handling.

Notifications

Daily reminders are scheduled locally on your device using iOS notifications. We do not operate a push server and do not receive reminder content.

Health disclaimer

Quieta is a self-observation wellness journal, not a medical device or treatment. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or therapy. The reports it generates summarize only what you entered, for your own reference and for conversations with your clinician.

Children

Quieta is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
