These Terms govern your access to and use of Culprit, operated by an individual developer based in the Republic of Korea. By using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the app.
Culprit helps users run a structured food-elimination and reintroduction program and track the patterns between meals and symptoms. Features include a 14-day elimination phase with allowed/avoiding food reference, meal and symptom logging, a reintroduction scheduler with washout enforcement, and AI-generated pattern summaries that describe how often particular foods were logged before symptoms rose. Certain features ("Culprit Pro") require a paid subscription.
Culprit is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The pattern analysis summarizes your own logs in qualitative language only and is not a clinical assessment. Information in the app is for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making dietary, medical, or lifestyle decisions, and especially before starting an elimination diet if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have a diagnosed eating disorder, or have any chronic medical condition.
You may create an account using Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
Culprit Pro is offered on a monthly (culprit_pro_monthly) or annual (culprit_pro_annual) basis. Current pricing is shown in-app at the time of purchase.
Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the then-current price.
You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal in your Apple ID Account Settings. No refunds are offered for partially used periods except where required by applicable law or Apple's refund policy.
If offered, any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited upon purchase of a subscription.
You retain ownership of data you enter (meals, symptoms, notes, reintroduction outcomes). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process this data solely to provide and improve the app in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
All app content, design, branding, and code are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by copyright and trademark law.
The app uses Supabase (auth and database), RevenueCat (subscription management), Anthropic Claude (qualitative pattern summaries), and Apple (Sign in with Apple, in-app purchases). Their respective terms and privacy policies also apply.
The app is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or health outcomes arising from your use. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the past 12 months.
We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or for operational reasons. Sections 3, 6, 8, 10, and 13 survive termination.
Material changes to the app or these Terms will be notified via in-app notice or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Seoul, except where consumer-protection laws of your jurisdiction mandate otherwise.
