Three tools, one app
Bubble level
- Flat: a round bullseye vial, tilt on X and Y
- On an edge: a long bar vial and a big angle readout
- Switches by itself as you hold the phone
- One vibration when it's level, optional tick sound, tolerance ±0.05° to ±0.5°
- Lock the reading; long-press for a relative zero
Angle finder
A protractor dial whose needle follows gravity. Zero it on one surface and hold it against the next to read the angle between them, in degrees, percent grade, mm/m or in/ft.
On-screen ruler
Two drag handles measure in millimeters or inches. Longer than the screen? Mark the end, move the phone and keep adding. Calibrate the scale with any credit-card-size card.
Five skins
Aluminum is free and does everything. Walnut, Brass, Crystal and Carbon are optional one-time purchases through Google Play, or get all four in a bundle. Try any skin for 15 seconds first. Every measuring feature is free; skins only change the look, of the level, the protractor and the ruler.
Calibrated, not guessed
No phone's sensor sits perfectly straight in its case. Two-step reversal calibration measures each surface twice, the second time turned 180°, and removes the offset, for the back and each of the four edges. Readings show to 0.1° and hold still when the phone does.
Private and offline
Tiltwell reads only the motion sensor, and the readings stay on your phone. No camera, no location, no ads, no analytics, no account. Light and dark workbenches, and TalkBack reads the angle aloud.
