Frequently Asked Questions

How do I play?

Drag from the outer boundary into the play area to start a cut, then drag toward a different edge. When your trace reaches that edge, the enclosed region without enemies is captured. Reach the stage's capture target to clear.

Why does the cut sometimes feel slow even when I drag fast?

By design. The cut head traces at a fixed maximum speed so that fast drags expose a longer active cut — which an enemy can intersect, forcing a fail. Slow, deliberate cuts capture larger regions safely; fast cuts trade safety for surface area.

Why did my cut cancel when I lifted my finger?

Lifting only commits the cut if your player marker (not your finger) has reached a different boundary edge. Lifting mid-arena cancels the cut and returns you to the start edge. Keep your finger down until the marker reaches the target edge.

What do the power-ups do?

What are the enemy types?

How do I earn three stars?

Clear the stage within the three-star time limit shown in the stage select, with at most the allowed number of failed cut attempts. Two-star requires only the looser time threshold; one-star requires any successful clear.

Where are my best times stored?

On your device only. Uninstalling the app removes them. There is no cloud sync and no account.

How do I turn off sound or haptics?

Settings inside the app → Feel → toggle Sound Effects or Haptics.

How do I reset progress?

Settings inside the app → Progress → Reset All Progress. This is irreversible.

Where do the sound effects come from?

From Kenney (www.kenney.nl) under the Creative Commons Zero license. They are bundled with the app, so the game makes no network calls to load them.

I found a bug. How do I report it?

Email us at [email protected] with the stage number, your device model, your iOS version, and a description of what happened.
