Resolv

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 12, 2026

Resolv is a habit‑abstinence tracker. We designed it to need as little of your data as possible. This policy explains what the app does and does not collect.

Your habit data stays on your device

The goals you track, your daily check‑ins, streaks, notes, and savings estimates are stored locally on your device (and, if you enable it, in your own private iCloud/app group container). This information is not sent to us and we cannot see it.

No account required

Resolv does not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email, phone number, or contacts.

No third‑party tracking or ads

Resolv contains no advertising and no analytics or tracking SDKs. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell or share personal data.

Subscriptions

Resolv Pro is an optional subscription. Purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to verify your subscription status and unlock Pro features. For this purpose RevenueCat processes a randomly generated app user identifier and your App Store purchase/receipt information; it does not receive your name or the contents of your habit data. See Apple's and RevenueCat's privacy policies for details on payment handling.

Notifications

Daily reminders are scheduled locally on your device using iOS notifications. We do not operate a push server and do not receive reminder content.

Health disclaimer

Resolv is a motivational tracking tool, not a medical device or treatment. It does not provide medical advice. Any data you enter is for your own motivation and is not transmitted to us.

Children

Resolv is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
