The timer pauses but the screen still goes black.
Open Settings inside Brewra and turn on "Keep screen awake while brewing". When that toggle is on, your iPhone's auto-lock is suppressed only while the brew session is on screen.
I don't feel the haptics.
Open Settings inside Brewra and ensure "Haptics" is on. Haptics also require iOS's system-wide haptics setting to be enabled (Settings → Sounds & Haptics → System Haptics). The haptics are intentionally subtle.
What ratio should I use?
1:15 to 1:16 is a common starting point for V60 and Chemex. Higher ratios (1:17, 1:18) give a brighter, more delicate cup; lower ratios (1:14) give a heavier body. Adjust to taste.
Why are the water amounts different from a recipe I saw online?
Brewra computes water using your coffee weight and ratio, then distributes the pours based on percentages built into each recipe. Other recipes use slightly different distributions. Use Brewra as a baseline and adjust as you learn.
Can I save my own recipes?
Not in v1.0. We are considering custom recipes for a future release.
How do I delete my data?
Uninstall Brewra. There is nothing else to delete — the app has no server and no account.
Does Brewra work on iPad?
Yes. Brewra is universal and supports all orientations on iPad.
