Aftershift

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 15, 2026

Aftershift is an after-work recovery routine planner. We designed it to work entirely on your device and to need none of your personal data. This policy explains what the app does and does not collect.

All data stays on your device

Your check-in answers (shift type, energy level, available time, goal), generated routines, and routine history are stored locally on your device using SwiftData and UserDefaults. This information is not sent to us and we cannot access it.

No account required

Aftershift does not ask you to create an account. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any contact information.

No third-party tracking or analytics

Aftershift contains no advertising and no analytics or tracking SDKs. Our app's PrivacyInfo manifest declares NSPrivacyTracking = false. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell or share your personal data.

Subscriptions

Aftershift Pro is an optional subscription. Purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to verify your subscription status and unlock Pro features. For this purpose RevenueCat processes a randomly generated app user identifier and your App Store purchase and receipt information; it does not receive your name or the contents of your routine data. See Apple's Privacy Policy and RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for details on payment handling.

Notifications

Evening reminders, if you choose to enable them, are scheduled locally on your device using iOS notifications. We do not operate a push notification server and do not receive reminder content.

Children

Aftershift is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
