훑기
버튼을 누른 채 링을 지붕과 나무 윗선을 따라 천천히 움직이세요. 같은 방향을 다시 훑으면 새 값으로 바뀝니다.
맞춤
태양(밤에는 달)을 링 안에 넣고 맞춤을 누르세요. 태양을 직접 보지 말고 화면을 보세요.
복원
설정이나 결제 화면에서 구매 복원을 누르세요. 같은 Apple 계정이나 Google 계정의 휴대폰이면 어디서든 됩니다.
Getting a good trace
Hold Hold to trace and move the ring slowly along the top edge of whatever is in front of you — rooftops, trees, hills. Sweep the part of the sky where the sun travels: roughly east through south to west in the northern hemisphere, east through north to west in the southern. Retracing a direction replaces what was recorded there. Clear starts over.
Directions you did not sweep count as open sky, and gaps of up to 30° between traced directions are filled in between the two edges. The result shows how many degrees you traced.
The sun's path doesn't line up
Phone compasses drift, especially near metal, cars and reinforced concrete. Point the ring at the sun (at night, the moon) and tap Align with sun. The heading is corrected for the rest of the session. Look at the screen, not at the sun.
Location or camera is off
Sunlane needs your location to know where the sun is; enable it in Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Sunlane. Without the camera the app draws a sky and tracing still works.
Why no clouds?
Sunlane computes geometry: when the sun is above your skyline. Whether that sun is behind a cloud on a given day is weather, which no app can know months ahead.
Restoring your purchase
Open the paywall or Settings and tap Restore purchase. The app tells you whether a purchase was found.
