위치는 기기에서 태양 위치를 계산하는 데만 씁니다. 카메라는 실시간 미리보기일 뿐, 사진이나 영상을 저장하지 않습니다.
구매만 확인합니다
RevenueCat은 익명 설치 식별자와 스토어(App Store·Google Play) 구매 기록만 받습니다.
Sunlane shows when direct sunlight reaches a spot, after the buildings and trees in front of it. It needs to know where you are, which way your phone is pointing and what is in front of it. This policy says exactly what happens to each.
Short version
- There is no account, no sign-up and no email address.
- Your location is used on the phone to compute the sun's position. It is never uploaded.
- The camera is a live preview. No photo or video is captured, stored or sent.
- Motion data is read on the phone to line the sun's path up with the view. It is never stored.
- There is no advertising, analytics or tracking.
No account, no identity
Sunlane has nothing to sign in to. We do not ask for a name, email address, phone number or social login, and we do not create an identifier that follows you across apps or devices. We hold no record of you, so there is nothing on our side to look up or delete on request.
Location
Sunlane asks for your location while the app is in use. It uses the latitude and longitude to calculate where the sun, the moon and the centre of the Milky Way are in the sky from that spot. The calculation runs in the app, on the phone. Your location is not sent to us or to anyone else.
If you save a place, its latitude, longitude and time zone are stored in the app's own container on your device so the result can be shown again later. iCloud sync is turned off for this storage.
Camera
The camera shows the view in front of you so you can trace the rooftops and trees over it. The app has no photo or video output at all: nothing from the camera is captured, saved, analysed or transmitted. If you decline camera access, Sunlane draws a sky instead and still works.
Motion
Sunlane reads the device's orientation (gyroscope, accelerometer and compass) to know which direction the camera faces. When you trace, the direction the ring points is saved as a skyline — a list of angles, one per compass degree. No motion data leaves the device.
What is stored, and where
Only places you choose to save: a name you type, the date, latitude, longitude, time zone and the traced skyline angles. They live in the app's container on your phone and are removed when you delete them or the app.
Sharing
With Sunlane Full you can make a share card image. It goes wherever you send it through the iOS share sheet. It shows the place name you typed, the date and the hours of sun — not your coordinates. Sunlane keeps no copy of what you shared.
The purchase
Sunlane Full is unlocked by a single purchase through the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android). The store processes the payment; we never see your payment details.
To know whether this device has the purchase, we use RevenueCat as our processor. RevenueCat receives an anonymous, randomly generated identifier for the install and the store purchase record for this app — which product, when, and whether it was a sandbox or production purchase. It receives no location, camera or motion data. RevenueCat's policy is at revenuecat.com/privacy.
No advertising, no analytics, no tracking
Sunlane contains no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK and no tracking of any kind, and it does not ask for permission to track.
Children
Sunlane is not directed at children and collects nothing that identifies anyone, of any age.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be described in the app's release notes.
