What we collect

• Account info: your email address (if you sign up with email), or an opaque Apple/Google user identifier (if you use Sign in with Apple or Google). These are stored in Supabase Auth and are used only to identify your account.
• Activity logs: the activities you log (drain/recharge events, timestamps, notes). Logs are stored locally on your device using SwiftData. If you are a Pro subscriber with cloud sync enabled, they are also synced to Supabase under your account with row-level security — only you can read your rows.
• AI-generated content: when you use the excuse generator or burnout forecast, the prompt (activity summary + current battery level) and the generated text are logged to solca.excuses_history on our Supabase database. This is used for usage tracking and to enforce rate limits. Prompts are processed server-side via a Supabase Edge Function and forwarded to Anthropic's Claude API. Anthropic does not retain prompts for model training.
• Subscription state: managed by RevenueCat and Apple StoreKit. We receive your entitlement status (Free or Pro) and a RevenueCat anonymous ID. We do not receive or store credit card numbers or payment details.

HealthKit (optional, Pro only)

If you grant HealthKit access, Solca reads sleep duration and heart rate variability (HRV) to refine your starting battery percentage each morning. HealthKit data is used only on-device for this calculation — it is never uploaded to our servers, never shared with third parties, never used for advertising or marketing, in accordance with Apple's Health Data Use Restrictions. You can revoke HealthKit access at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health.

What we don't collect

• We do not use advertising identifiers (IDFA/IDFV for ads).
• We do not track you across other apps or websites.
• We do not access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or location.
• We do not embed any analytics SDKs or third-party ad networks.

Third-party services we use

• Supabase — database and authentication host. Stores your account, activity logs (Pro sync), and AI generation history.
• Anthropic (Claude API) — powers AI excuse generation and burnout forecasting. Invoked server-side; Anthropic does not retain prompts for model training.
• RevenueCat — manages subscription entitlements. Receives an anonymous user ID and subscription state. No activity log data is shared with RevenueCat.
• Apple / Google — used only if you sign in with Apple or Google. We receive an authentication token and (optionally) your email.

How long we keep your data

Your account data is kept for as long as your account exists. AI generation history in solca.excuses_history is retained for up to 12 months for abuse rate-limiting, then purged. When you delete your account, all rows are permanently removed immediately by the solca.delete_account() RPC — there is no backup we can restore from.

Account deletion

Delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account inside the app. This removes your auth record and cascades a hard-delete of all Solca rows within seconds.

Children

Solca is intended for users aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 17.
