Every day at midnight UTC, a new puzzle becomes available worldwide — the same puzzle for every player, generated deterministically from the date. If you miss a day, the puzzle stays in your history so you can replay it later without any streak penalty.
Q. Does Nomori work offline?

Almost entirely. Puzzle solving, stats, and your history all work with no network connection. The only feature that needs a network is the crosspromo card (which shows other ootssu apps) — it silently skips loading if you are offline.
Q. I can't find 20×20 grids.

The 20×20 (Expert) grid size was deferred to a future v1.x update while we optimize the puzzle engine for that grid size. The current grid sizes are 5×5, 10×10, and 15×15. We'll announce Expert tier on our app page when it's ready.

One hint per puzzle is a soft pacing nudge to preserve the satisfaction of solving. It is not a paywall — there are no paid tiers in Nomori. You can still solve every puzzle in any size with unlimited generations; the hint limit is just there to keep the experience intentional.
