타인 녹음은 사용자의 책임입니다
대화 녹음에 관한 법은 나라와 주마다 다르고, 참석자 전원의 동의를 요구하는 곳이 많습니다. 동의를 받고 법과 사내 규정을 지키는 것은 사용자의 책임입니다.
These terms cover Minutae, an iPhone app that records meetings and turns them into text on the device. Plain language, because you should know what you are buying.
It is a one-time purchase
Minutae is unlocked by a single purchase of about US$19.99 through the App Store. It is not a subscription: it does not renew, and there is nothing to cancel. Your region's price is shown inside the app before you buy. The purchase is tied to your Apple Account, so you can restore it on another device you own with Restore purchase.
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us, through reportaproblem.apple.com.
What the app does, and what it does not
Minutae records audio and produces a transcript using the speech recognition Apple ships with iOS. Recognition is imperfect: names, jargon, crosstalk and accents are all places where the text may differ from what was said. The transcript is a working record, not a certified or legal one. Check anything that matters against the audio before you rely on it.
On devices with Apple Intelligence, Minutae can produce a summary. A summary is a compression of the transcript and inherits any errors in it, so treat it as a starting point rather than a minute book.
Coverage, and why we show it
If a phone call or another app takes the microphone, recording stops. Minutae tries to resume, marks the gap in the transcript, and shows what percentage of the meeting it actually recorded. We cannot promise that no meeting will ever be interrupted; we do promise that the app will tell you when one was.
Recording other people is your responsibility
Laws about recording conversations differ by country and by state, and many require the consent of everyone present. You are responsible for having that consent and for complying with the law and with any policy of your workplace. Do not use Minutae to record anyone who has not agreed to it.
Your content is yours
The recordings and transcripts you make belong to you. They stay on your device; we never receive them, and we claim no rights over them. We also cannot recover them — if you delete the app or your device is lost, nothing is stored anywhere else.
Availability
Minutae requires iOS 26 or later. Transcription needs Apple's on-device speech model, which supports a defined set of languages and requires a device that can run it; a meeting in an unsupported language is still recorded as audio. Summaries require a device with Apple Intelligence enabled. These are Apple platform capabilities, and they may change with iOS updates.
No warranty beyond what the law requires
The app is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from its use, including loss of a recording. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.
Changes
If these terms change, we will update this page and the date at the top.
