No email, no name, no account — just a random session identifier.
Voice isn't stored
Your audio streams straight to the AI service that powers the cat, not through our servers.
No ads, no tracking
No advertising and no tracking SDKs. We don't sell your data.
What Maneki collects
Maneki signs you in anonymously. There is no email, no name, and no account to create — the app holds a random identifier so your minutes follow you between sessions on the same device.
Your voice
While you are talking, your microphone audio is streamed to the AI service that powers the cat so it can hear you and answer. We do not store your audio and we do not store the words you say. The transcript you see on screen lives only in that conversation and is gone when the session ends.
The AI provider processes the audio to produce the reply. Their retention is governed by their own terms; we do not send them your identity, only the audio for that turn.
What our server keeps
Our server keeps the accounting it needs to sell minutes honestly:
- the anonymous identifier
- when a session started and ended, and how many seconds it used
- how many minutes you have left, and receipts for minutes you bought
This data is tied to the anonymous identifier, which means it is pseudonymised rather than anonymous — we cannot put a name to it, but it is linked to your install.
What we do not do
No advertising SDKs. No tracking SDKs. No analytics profiles built from your conversations. We do not sell your data.
Purchases
Subscriptions and minute packs are processed by Apple. We receive a purchase receipt through RevenueCat so we can credit your minutes. We never see your payment details.
Children
Maneki is not directed to children under 13.
Deleting your data
Email [email protected] from the device you use and we will delete the session and minute records tied to that install. Deleting the app also stops any further collection.
