How do I play?
Tap play to hear the first 1 second of today's song. If you guess wrong, the next attempt plays a longer snippet — 2s, 4s, 7s, 11s, and finally 16s. You have six attempts total. Type the song title or artist into the search bar; the autocomplete lists candidates from today's eligible song set.

Does the song title and the artist both have to be correct?
Yes, the default mode is strict: both must match. You earn partial credit if you nail the artist but miss the song title.

What is the per-group daily?
In addition to a single global daily song, K-Pop Heardle picks one daily song per supported group (NewJeans, IVE, LE SSERAFIM, aespa, Stray Kids, ATEEZ, ENHYPEN, TXT). Pick a group on the home screen to play that group's daily.

Why is everyone getting the same song?
Today's pick is deterministic per date. The puzzle generator uses the date as the seed, so every player worldwide playing on the same calendar day sees the same song. That keeps share-your-result grids meaningful.

Where does the audio come from?
All clips are Apple's standard 30-second iTunes preview clips. The app only trims how much of that preview plays on each attempt — it does not host or modify the audio.

Do I need an internet connection?
Yes, for the audio preview and for fetching the daily catalog. The app falls back to a bundled catalog on first launch so the experience still works if the catalog server is unreachable.

Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up and no login. If Game Center is enabled on your device, your scores can optionally post to Apple's Game Center leaderboards.

How do I reset my stats?
Open iOS Settings → K-Pop Heardle and toggle Reset Stats, or delete the app and reinstall it. There is no cloud backup because nothing is stored in the cloud.

A song or artist is missing from the catalog.
Please email us with the group name and the song title. We refresh the catalog periodically and welcome additions for groups already in scope.

The preview clip won't play.
Check that your device has an internet connection, that silent mode is off, and that the system volume is up. If the issue persists, please email us with your iOS version, device model, and the date of the song that failed.
