Short version

K-Pop Heardle does not collect any personal data. Everything you do in the app stays on your device. The app has no user accounts, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party analytics SDKs.

What stays on your device

• Your daily-puzzle results, streak, and statistics — stored locally with Apple's SwiftData framework.
• Your notification and language preferences — stored in iOS UserDefaults.
• Any guess input you type — used only in-app for the current session and never sent anywhere.

If you delete K-Pop Heardle from your device, all of the above is removed.

What we fetch from the network

• The daily song catalog and schedule — a single static JSON file served by a public CDN (jsDelivr, mirroring our GitHub repository). The request includes no personal data — only the standard HTTP headers your device automatically sends.
• 30-second audio preview clips — fetched from Apple's iTunes Search service, the same content available to any music app. Apple may log these requests under their own policies.
• Optional cross-promo icon — the app icon for a sibling app (Biasly), fetched once from Apple's iTunes Lookup service.

What we do NOT collect

• Your name, email, phone number, or address.
• Your contacts, photos, calendar, microphone, location, or health data.
• Any analytics or telemetry SDKs.
• Advertising identifiers (IDFA). The app does not show ads.
• Crash reports beyond what Apple already provides to developers anonymously via App Store Connect.

Third parties

K-Pop Heardle uses Apple's iTunes Search API and Apple Music deep links. Use of those services is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

The song catalog mirror is served by jsDelivr, a free public CDN. jsDelivr may log standard HTTP request metadata under their privacy policy.

If Game Center is enabled on your device, leaderboard and achievement data are handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy.

Children

The app is rated 4+ on the App Store and contains no objectionable content. It does not collect data from children or anyone else.

Data retention

All on-device data persists until you delete the app or clear its data via iOS Settings. There is no server-side store to delete from.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change this policy, the new version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
