Itda Privacy Policy

Itda (잇다) is a Korean word-chain game published by OOTSSU (package name: com.ootssu.itda). This policy describes what the Android app does with data. The short version: the game runs entirely on your device, has no user accounts, and makes no network requests except for purchases.

What stays on your device

• Wordbook and game history — the words you and the AI chain, your scores, and your Daily Challenge streak are stored in a local database on your device. They are never uploaded.
• Settings — Speak Mode, 두음법칙, 3-syllable mode and the daily reminder time are stored locally.
• Speech — Speak Mode uses Android's speech recognizer, preferring on-device recognition where the device supports it. Pronunciation playback uses Android's on-device text-to-speech. Itda does not record, store, or transmit audio.

What leaves your device

• Purchases only. If you subscribe to Itda Pro, Google Play processes the payment and RevenueCat records the subscription state so the app knows whether Pro is active. RevenueCat identifies the purchase with a random anonymous ID it generates — Itda does not create an account, ask for your name or email, or send RevenueCat any personal data. We never receive your card number or your Google account.

What we do not collect

• No accounts, no email address, no name — there is no sign-in of any kind
• No location data
• No camera, photo library, or contacts access
• No advertising identifier (the app does not request AD_ID) and no advertising SDK
• No analytics SDK and no crash-reporting SDK
• No audio recordings — speech is handled by the system recognizer and discarded

Permissions and why

• INTERNET — only for the purchase and subscription-state check described above. The game itself works in airplane mode.
• RECORD_AUDIO — requested only the first time you turn on Speak Mode. Denying it leaves the rest of the game fully playable.
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS — requested only after you finish your first Daily Challenge, for the optional daily reminder. Denying it changes nothing else, and we do not ask again.

Children

Itda is rated for everyone and contains no user-generated content, chat, or advertising. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Deleting your data

Uninstalling the app removes the local database and settings. Because there is no account, there is nothing left on our side to delete. To cancel a subscription, use Google Play › Subscriptions.

Word list

The Korean words in Itda are our own curation. No third-party dictionary is copied or redistributed.
