Terms of Use — BloatLess

These Terms govern your access to and use of BloatLess (also marketed as GutLog), operated by an individual developer based in the Republic of Korea. By using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the app.

2. Description of Service

BloatLess helps users track meals, symptoms, and gut-health patterns. Features include food logging, symptom check-ins, FODMAP-based risk assessment, weekly reports, and optional AI-generated insights. Certain features ("BloatLess Pro") require a paid subscription.

BloatLess is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Information in the app is for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making dietary, medical, or lifestyle decisions.

4. Account

You may create an account using email/password or Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.

5. Subscriptions, Billing, and Auto-Renewal

5.1 Plans

BloatLess Pro is offered on a monthly (bloatless_pro_monthly) or annual (bloatless_pro_annual) basis. Current pricing is shown in-app at the time of purchase.

5.2 Payment

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase.

5.3 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the then-current price.

5.4 Managing and Cancelling

You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal in your Apple ID Account Settings. No refunds are offered for partially used periods except where required by applicable law or Apple's refund policy.

5.5 Free Trials

If offered, any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited upon purchase of a subscription.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of data you enter. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process this data solely to provide and improve the app in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

All app content, design, branding, and code are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by copyright and trademark law.

9. Third-Party Services

The app uses Supabase, RevenueCat, Anthropic Claude, Open Food Facts, and Apple. Their respective terms and privacy policies also apply.

10. Limitation of Liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or health outcomes arising from your use. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the past 12 months.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or for operational reasons. Sections 3, 6, 8, 10, and 13 survive termination.

12. Changes

Material changes to the app or these Terms will be notified via in-app notice or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Seoul, except where consumer-protection laws of your jurisdiction mandate otherwise.
