Frequently Asked Questions

Is Biasly a replacement for Duolingo or a Korean teacher?

No. Biasly focuses on K-pop, K-drama, and Korean internet culture — the stuff general apps skip. Use it alongside a foundations course, not instead of one.

Can the AI be wrong about a lyric?

Yes. AI analyses can contain errors, especially for coined slang or very recent references. Low-confidence results are flagged. Don't quote Biasly as a source in academic or professional contexts.

Why do I only get 3 lyric analyses per day on Free?

AI analyses cost real money to run. Free access keeps Biasly open to everyone while Pro subscribers unlock unlimited analyses. Daily limit resets at midnight in your local timezone.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Settings app → your name → Subscriptions → Biasly → Cancel Subscription. Your Pro access remains until the end of the current billing period.

How do I restore a purchase?

Open Biasly → Settings → Restore Purchases. Sign in with the Apple ID used for the original purchase.

How do I delete my account?

Open Biasly → Settings → Delete Account. Your learning history and preferences are permanently removed from our servers. Subscription records retained for legal reasons are anonymized.

Can I submit BTS / BLACKPINK / etc. lyrics?

You paste them yourself for personal educational use. Biasly does not distribute or republish lyrics — we provide commentary and language breakdown. You are responsible for the content you submit.

Why is my romanization slightly different from what I see elsewhere?

Biasly uses Revised Romanization (RR), the Korean government standard. Older resources sometimes use McCune-Reischauer (e.g. "Kim" vs "Gim"). Both are correct; RR is dominant in modern media and textbooks.

Can I request a new feature?

Yes — email us with your bias, what you're trying to learn, and what's missing. We prioritize features that hit the most fans.
