The app

Fortune Shop is a single hub for Korean fortune-telling and naming. It includes 사주 (four pillars), 타로, 꿈해몽 (dream reading), 전생 (past life), 이름풀이 (name reading — Korean 수리 stroke counts and Japanese 姓名判断), 작명 and 태명 (given-name and womb-name candidates), 상호명 작명 (business naming), 궁합 (compatibility), a consultation room, and a free daily luck card.

Each reading is computed in two layers: a deterministic engine on your device produces the facts (pillars, stroke counts, drawn cards, matched dream symbols), and those fixed facts are then written up by an AI model. The AI changes only the voice, never the facts, and it does not invent results.

Name candidates are suggestions for you to choose among, and all readings are provided for personal entertainment and self-reflection only. Nothing in the app is advice of any kind — medical, legal, financial, or psychological — and no outcome is predicted or guaranteed. Whether a given name or hanja can actually be registered is governed by your local family-register rules (in Korea, the Supreme Court's permitted-hanja list); confirming that, and the final choice of name, is yours. We do not check whether a business name is available as a trademark — search an official registry before you use one.

Credits and the Unlimited Pass

• Credits are a one-time, consumable in-app purchase used to unlock readings (1–5 credits each, shown on every module before you open it). They do not auto-renew. Consumed credits are non-refundable except where required by law or by Google Play policy.
• Unlimited Pass is an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) that unlocks unlimited readings across the included modules. The naming modules — 작명, 태명 and 상호명 작명 — are credit-only and are not covered by the Pass. The Pass begins with a 7-day free trial. After the trial, the price shown at purchase is billed to your Google Play account, and the subscription renews automatically until you cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends to avoid the next charge; the trial can be cancelled before it ends to avoid any charge.
• Payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Manage or cancel subscriptions at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions. Refunds are handled under Google Play's refund policy.
• Credits and Pass access are held on our server against your anonymous device ID, not against a Google account. Uninstalling the app discards that ID, so buy from and restore to the same install where possible; use Restore on the purchase screen to re-attach a subscription.

Data ownership

Your saved readings and settings are stored locally on your device (Jetpack DataStore). Uninstalling the app removes them permanently. See our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Don't reverse-engineer the app, probe our backend for vulnerabilities, or use Fortune Shop for any illegal purpose. Don't attempt to manipulate the credit ledger or obtain credits or subscription access without paying.

Not a crisis service

The consultation room is entertainment, not counselling. If you are in danger or thinking of hurting yourself, contact a local emergency number or crisis line rather than this app.

Disclaimers

Fortune Shop is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Readings and name candidates must not be relied upon as the sole basis for a real decision, including a name or business registration. To the extent permitted by law, OOTSSU is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Fortune Shop.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of Fortune Shop after changes constitutes acceptance.
