These terms govern your use of Purro (the "app"), published by OOTSSU. By using the app you agree to these terms.

What Purro is

Purro is a conversation-practice and companionship app. You have spoken English conversations with an illustrated, AI-driven cat character. It is designed for casual conversation practice and company — not as a substitute for any professional service.

Not professional advice

Purro is not a medical, legal, financial, or psychological professional, and nothing Purro says is medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice. If Purro's persona steers a sensitive topic toward suggesting you speak with a qualified professional or another real person, please do so — do not rely on the app itself for guidance on those matters.

The character is fiction, and its speech is AI-generated

Purro is a fictional character. Her voice, personality, and everything she says are generated in real time by an AI language model (via a third-party AI service). Her responses are not reviewed by a person before you hear them and may be inaccurate, nonsensical, out of character, or simply wrong. Do not rely on anything Purro says as fact.

Minimum age

Purro is intended for adults. You must be at least 13 years old to use it, consistent with the minimum age in the terms of the AI service that powers Purro's conversations. If you are under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission to use the app.

Conversation minutes

Voice conversation time is metered in minutes. New users get a one-time free trial of 10 minutes. After that, conversation minutes come with a paid subscription (see below). Each individual conversation session is capped at 10 minutes; when a session ends you can start another one as long as you have minutes left.

Minutes are granted for each billing period and do not roll over — unused minutes expire when the period ends. We also apply internal usage limits to protect the service against abnormal consumption; if such a limit is reached, conversations may be unavailable for the remainder of the period. Allowances and caps may change and are not a guaranteed or contracted quantity of service.

Subscriptions and billing

Purro offers auto-renewing monthly subscriptions, purchased through the App Store:

Prices above are in US dollars; the price for your region is shown in the app before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. A subscription renews automatically each month unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends, and your Apple Account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.

You can view, change, or cancel a subscription at any time in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the current period, and the minutes remaining in that period stay available until the period ends. Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store Terms of Service — we cannot issue them ourselves.

If you have no active subscription and no minutes left, the app stays installed and your settings are kept, but voice conversations are unavailable until you subscribe.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the app for any unlawful purpose.
• Do not attempt to reverse engineer the app or bypass, automate, or circumvent its usage limits, session controls, or access tokens.
• Do not use the app to generate, request, or share content that is illegal, harassing, or intended to harm others.
• Do not misrepresent your identity or age when using the app.

Content and ownership

The Purro character, artwork, app design, and code are original works owned by OOTSSU. You're granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on devices you own or control, in accordance with the App Store Terms of Service.

No warranty

Purro is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app or its conversations will be accurate, uninterrupted, or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OOTSSU is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including reliance on anything the Purro character says.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the app if we believe you have violated these terms or misused the service.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
